The Piling Machine SO-450 is a gravity type and is anchored with metal loads by a service crane. The total weight of the loads can be up to 200 tonnes and is determined by the soil resistance. The weight of the machine is 14.3 tonnes. The pressing force is up to 230 tonnes. The pile pressing force (soil resistance) is controlled by the machine's hydraulic system. The Piling Machine SO-450 works on the principle of self-centering the pile utilizing a side wedge-operated clamping system and cyclically pressing a pile into the ground in manual or automatic mode. These machines remain indispensable for installing piles with high responsibility, where the safety of nearby buildings is critical, and where piling work is carried out as close as possible to existing buildings or structures - 1 m for concrete piles and 0.75 m for sheet piles. The design features of the machine ensure high accuracy of pile pressing and continuous monitoring of the pile pressing force, which is important for evaluating the bearing capacity of the piles during the piling process. The pile-pressing process is automated and remotely controlled. Pile pressing into the ground to the design level is carried out without damaging the surface layer and without the need to prepare an excavation, thanks to the use of a metal inventory tool (L=12 m), which allows to minimise excavation works, to ensure independence from weather conditions, as well as works related to the preparation and cleaning of the construction site. Due to the design of the side clamp system the length of the loaded construction element is not limited. Piling machine SO-450 is easy to operate, have low weight and overall dimensions, do not require additional assembly at the construction site, are transported assembled on standard platforms for transporting construction equipment. The machine is operated by an operator and two slingers. The Piling machine C0-450 is used as a multifunctional test bench for full-scale geotechnical modeling, monitoring, and testing of pressed piles. The monitoring data, confirmed by the results of control tests, allows to guarantee the bearing capacity of each pile pressed into the ground, which opens up the possibility of interactive design, allowing for optimization of the design load, the number of piles in the project, labor costs and ensuring a given bearing capacity, to minimize the cost of piling works. This approach ensures the safety of the buildings and communications surrounding the construction site, and therefore savings for public and private investors. |
